Economical model-building

This fully functional hydraulic excavator was copied on a scale of 1:14,5. The model was based on the Liebherr type 954C. The model includes plain bearings made of iglidur® G, some of which are used to support the rollers in the caterpillar chassis. The igus® bearings increase the service life of the bolts and cylinder bearing points and are less expensive than comparable sintered bearings.
