This workout device is used for training muscles. There is a lifting mechanism for this which moves a variable number of weights. To achieve a good training effect and avoid injuries, it is important for the guides of the mechanism to move the weights smoothly and evenly. Conventional bearings were not able to guarantee this. It wasn‘t until drylin® R-Tandem flange bearings and iglidur® M250 plain bearings from igus® were used that the desired effect was achieved; at the same time, the noise caused by the device being used was reduced.
