Rolling without metal

This wheelchair manages completely without metal. This is a major advantage, particularly when it is used in hospitals for MRT examinations for example. The frame is made of wood, the wheelchair’s wheels are made of plastic. The developers used xiros® plastic ball bearings from igus® as bearings for the front and rear axis. These are non-magnetic on the one hand and absolutely lubricant- and maintenance-free on the other.
