Well protected

This bicycle pedal offers its owner excellent protection from theft. A GPS module and GPRS modem are concealed in a tiny space inside the pedal. This means the smartphone app can determine the location of the connected bicycle at any time. The proximity of the bearing to the sensitive PCB made the use of lubricated metal bearings impossible. For this reason, the designers decided to use the maintenance- and lubricant-free iglidur® plain bearings from igus®, which are also extremely sturdy and durable.
