On this application, the aim is to change from the left-hand side of a cast mold to the right-hand side with as little effort as possible. For this purpose, the two compartments on the mold must be rotated 180 degrees with the utmost precision. The bearings used must be lubricant-free, as quartz sand is used here, which would get stuck to the lubricant.
