Clean motion

This computer-controlled foam cutter manufactures decorative objects. The foam blocks are cut with a hot wire. The cutting wire is moved along the vertical axis by two drylin® ZLW toothed belt shafts. This solution replaces the previously used ball bearings, which are more difficult to make and were particularly susceptible to dirt.
