Hot wire cutting machine for Styrofoam parts

Less production complexity

This hot wire cutting machine is used to cut Styrofoam parts, which are mainly used in model airplane construction. The newly designed machine is distinguished above all by an affordable production method, because many standard purchase parts are used. igus® is used here with six horizontal and vertical drylin® T linear guides. The much reduced component cost and the high mechanical quality compared to solutions with guide rollers minimize the production cost considerably.
