“Portamobil” assembly aid for door leaves

Using this newly developed appliance, a fitter can assemble or transport door leaves of up to 120 kilograms on his own. As the “Portamobil” is intended to be produced in small runs, standard components are mainly used in its manufacture, which should be correspondingly affordable. The design of the crankshaft bearings should be maintenance and lubricant-free so that the doors do not get dirty either. Flange bearings made of iglidur® G are used here. igubal® axial bearings SAM are also fitted in the appliance to guide the trapezoidal spindles and Polysorb disk springs in the undercarriage, both from igus®.
