Efficient hardening with ultraviolet radiation

Easy and durable

In the graphics industry, UV-hardened paints are often used. In this application the paints are hardened. For this purpose, a spotlight generates UV light. The shielding in the appliance is adopted by absorbers, whose bearings must be free of play. Plain bearings made of the high temperature material iglidur® X and iglidur® J are used here. They are chemically resistant and are also resistant to the temperatures of 120°C generated here. Due to its simple design and the price, it was possible to reduce the manufacturing costs of the UV-hardener.
