Plastic bearings for modular sailing rolls: The belt pulley as well as plastic bearings are produced with 3D printing. The belt pulley is an innovative and patented invention. The user can adjust the roll to his individual requirements because of the modular design. Due to the geometry of the disc, it is not possible to use cylindrical bearings. Bearings made of iglidur® Tribo-Filament with improved rotational- and friction values succeeded in all tests.
