With robolink
In this case, the design for a 5-axle jointed arm was submitted to the manus® competition. The jointed arm was constructed with two robolink® joints from igus®. With robolink®, different movement mechanisms are integrated in one component, the actuators and control modules are decoupled from the tools. The fifth degree of freedom is provided by a servo motor. An electromagnetic gripper is used as a “hand” here.
